The Media Youth and Culture Committee, Chaired by Hon. Wavel Woodcock met with the Mayor of Victoria, Mr. David Andre yesterday afternoon.
The main aim of this meeting was to discuss the proposal of the new structure of the Mayor’s Office in regards to its relationship with cultural departments. The Mayor had the opportunity to explain the plans he wishes to propose to the Cabinet and how he hopes to help revolutionise the culture department following his negotiations with several key entities.
Other members of the Committee present were Hon. Jany Letourdi, Hon. Noline Sophola, Hon. Kelly Samynadin and Hon. Naddy Zialor. The Committee Members also seized this opportunity to question the Mayor about some pertinent concerns surrounding his projects and even matters arising in society.
