The Honorable Member, Mr. Norbert Loizeau was born on the 13th July 1969.
Hon. Loizeau completed one year at the National Youth Service in 1986.
He later completed his studies at the Seychelles Polytechnic School of Engineering in 1988 with a Certificate in Electrical Installation Work.
Hon. Loizeau has worked as a technical operator for the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation for 9 years, from 1989 to 1998. He was then self-employed as an Electrical and Refrigerant Technician from 1998 to date.
He started his career in politics as a Young Political Activist of the Seychelles National Party (SNP) in 2003. In 2007 he was elected as a Member of the 4th National Assembly representing Bel Air for the SNP. In 2015 he became an executive member for the Seychelles National Party to date.
In September 2016, he was elected as a Member of the 6th National Assembly for the District of Bel Air for the Opposition Party, Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS). As well as representing the District of Bel Air in the National Assembly, Hon. Loizeau is also a Member of the Committee on Government Assurances (COGA).
Hon. Loizeau was re-elected as the Member for Bel Air of the 7th Assembly. He also serves on the House Committee and the Committee on Government Assurances (COGA).
