Hon. Richard Labrosse, born on September 3, 1984, he is from Belvedere, in the district of Plaisance. Hon. Labrosse was previously a Senior Corporate and Compliance Manager at Keyway (Seychelles) Limited, an international corporate service provider based in Seychelles. He is also the Chairman of an association called LAMP which is an NGO that deals with young people that are having difficulties in society, especially those that are still in school.
He has experience as an observer for elections that take place in the SADC countries, the African Union and is also a proud peacekeeper for the East African Standby Force (EASF).
Hon. Labrosse went to the Hotel School of the Beach Comber Training Academy in Mauritius where he followed several trainings in Administration. He then followed a two-year course in Small Business Leadership at the University of Seychelles (UniSey). He further ventured into other courses such as Anti-Money Laundering at the International Compliance Association in Manchester, UK and took the initiative to follow several trainings in financial related subjects.
Hon. Labrosse is a Member of the Media Youth and Culture Committee (MYCC) and the Finance, the Public Accounts Committee (FPAC). Hon. Labrosse also serves on the Human and Social Development and Special Programmes Committee as a Member of the Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum (SADC PF).
