The meeting began with the presentation of two books; “Mother of Peace: a memoir by Hak Ja Han Moon”, and “As a Peace-Loving Global Citizen by Sun Myung Moon”. It was noted that these texts underpinned the mission and values of the UPF, such as peacebuilding, global cooperation, interfaith discussions, and humanitarian missions. Rev. Chung To thanked the Hon. Speaker for the opportunity to discuss the ongoing activities of the UPF in Seychelles, such as visits to various schools and learning institutions. As an NGO which supports the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the UPF has a vested interest in the promotion of education and human development. Activities have also included workshops with teachers, which emphasise issues within civil society and ethics.
