Order 89 from the Standing Orders, 2020 prescribes for the below:
(1) The Standing Orders Committee shall consist of seven Members appointed by the Assembly from among its Members at the Commencement of each session.
(2) In addition to any other functions conferred upon by the Assembly, it shall be the duty of the Standing Orders Committee to consider all proposals concerning the rules of procedures of the Assembly and to report to the Assembly thereon.
(3) The Committee shall elect its own Chairperson.
