S4S played an instrumental role in the Parliament’s adoption of green policies, with the formation of EPIC itself being a recommendation made from the sustainability audit conducted by the S4S team in 2019. The meeting was held with the aims of identifying a way forward in conducting further sustainability and energy audits, and a carbon footprint assessment. This would enable EPIC to further assess the Parliament’s performance and identify any weaknesses and gaps for further improvement.

Discussions focused on EPIC’s achievements so far, its current projects, and future plans in alignment with achieving the objective of having a Green Parliament. S4S provided the Committee with clarity and perspective on how to proceed and the meeting was considered very fruitful.
