H.E Mrs. Martha Hernandez Caneiro, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Seychelles paid a Courtesy Call on the Speaker of the National Assembly of Seychelles, Hon. Roger Mancienne on Monday 25th October 2021.
During their discussions, H.E Mrs. Caneiro conveyed compliments from the Speaker of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba to the National Assembly of Seychelles through Speaker Mancienne. Both dignitaries spoke about the longstanding bilateral relations between Cuba and Seychelles in the Education and Health Sectors and explored the possibility of strengthening this relationship by the exchange of experiences on issues affecting both countries such as climate change and the environment.
H.E Ambassador Caneiro appealed for the revival of the Parliamentary Friendship Group between the two parliaments for the sharing of best practices and experiences.
H. E Mrs. Caneiro was accompanied by Mr. Tomas Mendez Parra, the Minister Council from the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba and the Speaker Was accompanied by Mrs. Tania Isaac, the Clerk to the National Assembly.
