A Member of the National Assembly, Hon. Sandy Arissol was invited to attend a Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace at the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro, from the 15th to the 16th July 2021.

Hon

The idea of “The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace” began as a window or an international platform dedicated for tolerance and spreading peace and noble human objectives. It is an International Organisation that relies on democratic principles and takes from the International Law and Covenants its own work system, in order to reach true and sustained peace for the human kind through spreading the culture of tolerance between countries. It also builds on the policy of soft power which some countries understood its importance and started calling for it worldwide.

Hon

The International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP), one of the main organs of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace (GCTP), held its bureau meeting and the meeting of its six permanent committees’, the cultivating peace Committee, the International Relations Committee, the Legal Affairs Committee, the Women and Youth Committee, the Sustainable Development Committee, and the Preventing Extremism and Terrorism Committee. The bureau has approved the agenda, while the permanent committees discussed ways to promote tolerance and peace around the world in their specialized fields.
