The month of December is a month that is usually filled with festivities and joyful giving. To commemorate this month, the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus took it upon themselves to visit four former women parliamentarians who are currently facing some health challenges to bring them some Christmas cheer.
The four women, namely: Mrs Florence Benstrong, Mrs Anne-Marie Mathiot, Mrs Ginette Gamatis and Mrs Annette Georges have all served in the Assembly faithfully for many years.
The Women’s Caucus exchanged gifts and memorabilia with the former parliamentarians. The former Members expressed their gratitude and their pleasure to having the Members paying them a visit and wished them well in their journeys as Women Parliamentarians of the 7th National Assembly Cohort.
