As Covid-19 continues to surge around the world and cases are on the increase in Seychelles, it is everyone’s responsibility to play their individual role in controlling the Spread of the virus.
The Indian High Commission and the Indian Association has taken the initiative to assist in supporting the National Assembly during this pandemic by donating some useful items as part of the precautionary measures against Covid-19 spread and infection.
This donation is a welcomed one for the National Assembly in its own endeavor to continually monitor the health of its Members, secretariat staff and also visitors to its precinct during this tasking time.
The Hon. Speaker Nicholas Prea received the gifts from the Indian High Commissioner H.E. General Dalbir Singh Suhag and Mr. Jamshed Pardiwala, the Chairperson of the Indian Association in a small ceremony at the National Assembly yesterday in the presence of the National Assembly’s secretariat staff and Members of the Association.
The donation comprises of 500 face masks, an infrared thermometer, a BP Machine and a Glucometer.
