Dress code for the public 

Visitors in the Public Gallery

Members of the public in the gallery must be neatly dressed with males' shirts always neatly tucked inside the pants. Male members shall not wear jeans, sweatshirts, t-shirts or golf-type shirts. 

For females, dresses are allowed with appropriate accessories (with the addition of a suit jacket or blouse if the dress is sleeveless or has spaghetti straps). Skirts that are split at or below the knee are permissible. Dresses and skirts should be at a length at which ladies can sit comfortably. Short, tight skirts that ride halfway up the thigh are inappropriate. Mini-skirts, sun dresses, beach dresses and spaghetti strap dresses (unless covered) are not appropriate. 

Sandals are permissible for visitors with medical issues.

Service Providers at the Precinct

Staff of service providers must be dressed in a neat and tidy manner at all times on visits to the National Assembly, preferably attires with company logo.

Visitors with Appointments

Visitors with appointments to leaders, members of the national assembly or staff members must be dressed in a neat and tidy manner at all times at the national assembly building.

Clothing with political logos and slogans or any other logo and slogans that may be considered offensive are strictly not permissible. No other objects with political logos or slogans are allowed.
