A Group from Mont Fleuri Visit the National Assembly

In line with the Citizenship Education Curriculum, the National Assembly regularly hosts school children and teachers to help them better understand the role of the National Assembly and to further empower them to be proactive as members of their communities. The National Assembly also hosts Senior Citizens, offering them a similar visit experience.

This morning the National Assembly welcomed a vibrant group of Constituents from the Mont Fleuri District and as part of their visit they had the opportunity to watch an Assembly Sitting, interact with the Members and get a Tour of the Museum featuring the history of Parliament. The students and the Senior Citizens from the group got the chance to ask some of the Members questions, viewed a live Sitting and learned about the history of the National Assembly through a Tour. Hon. Jean-Francois Ferrari organized for the visit with the assistance of the Secretariat of the National Assembly.
