The Seychelles National Assembly is seeking to recruit a competent, committed, self-motivated and enthusiastic Seychellois candidate for the following position:

 

Senior Private Secretary to the Clerk

 

Main Duties

Responsible for:

  1. Organizing office operations for the Office of the Clerk
  2. Typing executive correspondence, taking and transcribing dictations
  3. Drafting general replies on behalf of the Clerk
  4. Performing standard office duties, including scheduling appointments, arranging meetings and assisting with the preparations, processing mails, answering telephone and maintaining event calendars
  5. Attending to any visitors calling in on the Clerk
  6. Taking minutes of meeting being held by the Clerk and conveying instructions as directed

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Secretarial Studies OR
  • Certificate in Office Management OR
  • A minimum of three years satisfactory work experience as a Private Secretary

 

Other Requisites

  • Self-organizer with strong analytical skills
  • Team Player
  • Ability to work methodically, accurately, neatly and fast
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to act with tact and discretion
