THIS WEEK IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
This week in the National Assembly, the Minister for Health, Mrs Mitcy Larue will answer 7 questions before the House.
The Minister will answer questions regarding the following: the Ministry’s plan to retain our professionals in their jobs; its plan to detect and prevent chronic diseases such as hypertension and diabetes in the community; the specialization programme for the young medical practitioners who are working with the Ministry.
The Minister for Environment, Energy and Climate Change, Mr. Didier Dogley will appear before the House to answer an urgent question posed by the Leader of the Opposition. Hon. David Pierre is seeking explanations for the interruption in electricity that occurred on Saturday 10th October 2015 all over Mahe.
In addition, one motion has been tabled for this sitting. The representative of the Beau Vallon District, Hon. Mirena Souris will call on the House to support the announcement made by the President James Michel regarding the placement of more specialized and high-quality health services in the community.
