The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Jean Paul Adam will be present for this week’s question time period at the National Assembly. He will address the following concerns: the situation of the three Seychellois detained in Egypt; the possible revision of fees for medical visa applications; the possibility of establishing an Embassy in East Africa in view of Seychelles’ candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council; plans to ratify the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention; precisions on the availability and geographic location of consular posts and the Ministry’s efforts to facilitate the access of graduates to posts within international organizations.
Moreover, one motion has been tabled for this sitting and will be presented by the proportionately elected Member, Hon. Sylvianne Valmont. She will call for the executive to create a public service school to consequently establish a certain standard of service delivery by the former.
