THIS WEEK IN THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY
This week, the Minister for Health, Mrs. Mitcy Larue will be in the National Assembly to answer ten questions. Health services for patients with eye problem including those on Praslin, the delay in the project to extend and renovate the Les Mamelles clinic, and health awareness programme in the schools will be amongst topics to be looked at during question time.
The Minister for Finance, Trade and Investment, Mr. Pierre Laporte will also be present in this week’s sitting to present the International Business Companies (Amendment) Bill, 2013. The Bill proposes several amendments to the International Business Companies Act of 2004 including a provision under which the international business companies will be required to furnish an annual report to their registered agent.
The National Assembly business will conclude with a Motion by the Leader of Government Business, Hon. Marie-Antoinette Rose, seeking approval of the Protocol Relating to the Establishment of the Peace and Security Council of the Africa Union.
