Pursuant to Article 64 (4) of the Constitution, I move that this Assembly resolves to ratify the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 6th October 1999.

Pursuant to Article 64 (4) of the Constitution, I move that this Assembly resolves to ratify the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Protocol on Gender and Development approved in Johannesburg on 17th August 2008.
